seven games. Had 100-plus receiving yards in six of seven games. Has had the
third (196 yards) and 10th (165 yards) best single-game receiving
outings in school history. Through seven games has already caught a school
single-season record 50 passes. Needed just 45 yards to break
the
single-season yardage record of 1,038 yards and 210 yards to
break the Lone Star Conference single-season mark of 1,203 yards. Has
touchdown catches of 27, 43, 54, 55, 77 and 90 yards.
Caught school-record 90-yard touchdown pass against Eastern New Mexico.
Lone Star Conference North Division Offensive Player of the Game
vs. Texas A&M-Commerce after catching six passes for 163 yards
and one TD.
2001 Key Stats: Through seven games has caught 50
passes for 994 yards and six touchdowns, averaging 19.9 yards a catch.
Averaging 7.1 receptions a game and led Division II in receiving yards at
142.0 yards per game. Caught at least six passes in every game, with two
games of 10. Had 110-plus receiving yards in six of seven games. Has 13
catches of 25-plus yards -- 27, 27, 29, 32, 37, 38, 41, 42, 43, 54, 55,
77 and 90.
