2002 Highlights: He completed 53-of-106 passes for 1,372 yards and 14 touchdowns.  He rushed for 456 yards on 81 carries for 10 touchdowns.  He leads the SAC in pass efficiency with 192.8.  

2001 Key Stats: He was 7-fo-8 for 151 yards in his first game back from a back injury in which he also rushed for two touchdowns.  He had three touchdowns against New Haven and 175 yards of total offense.  He threw four touchdowns in the Western Oregon game to tie his own school record.  He also had a 98-yard touchdown pass, the longest in school history, in the Western Oregon game and was SAC Offensive Player of the Week.  He was again named SAC Offensive Player of the Week and broke the Carson-Newman career record for total offense in the Mars Hill game.  He became the career leader in touchdown passes by throwing three in the win over
Newberry.   He moved into second place in career passing against 17th ranked Tusculum with 120 yards.  He was named the SAC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time in the season after passing for 166 yards and 2 touchdowns and rushing for 37 yards in a win over Lenoir-Rhyne. This season he has led the Eagles to an 11-0 record, a 7-0 conference mark, a SAC title and into the Division II playoffs.  Carson-Newman leads the nation in rushing offense (363.5) and total offense (528.6) 

Career: He holds the Carson-Newman record for career total offense with 6,393 yards (1,564 rushing, 4,829 passing).  He also holds the Carson-Newman record for career touchdown passes with 41.  He holds the school record for career points with 442 which is also the conference record.  He also holds the school record for career touchdowns scored (73).  He has 4,829 passing yards which places him only 532 yards from claiming the career passing yardage mark.  He has a career record of 37-4.  He has led the Eagles to three conference
championships and three appearances in the NCAA Division II National Championship game.
