25TH PRESENTATION OF DIVISION II FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE
YEAR AWARD SET FOR DECEMBER 17, 2010
FLORENCE, Ala.
-- The Harlon
Hill Trophy will celebrate its Silver Anniversary on
December 17, 2010, with the 25th presentation of the
Division II College Football Player of the Year award.
Created in 1986, the Hill Trophy program
has recognized the top players in Division II for more
than two decades and has become an integral part of the
Division II Championship weekend in the Shoals.
The award winner is
determined annually in voting by the Division II sports
information directors. The 25th Harlon Hill Trophy award
banquet will be held at the Marriott Shoals Conference Center
at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, December 17.
The Division II Football Championship Game will
kickoff at 10 a.m. on December 18 at Florence's
Braly Stadium.
The Harlon Hill Trophy
is sponsored by the City of Florence,
Florence-Lauderdale Tourism, Opti-Net, Marriott Shoals
Hotel and Spa and Herff Jones.
